Herpes doesn't spread nearly that fast - it takes like a month to show up after contraction.
Also a guy has only like a 1 in 200 chance of contracting herpes from a single sexual episode and that's with unprotected sex.
He has something else - a reaction, he shaved that area recently, etc.

No you're not.
4% risk with no condom no antiviral.
2% with no condom and antiviral
1% with condom and antiviral.
Virus shedding rate also changes your risk. If someone is having a breakout then they're usually more likely to transfer it.
So, even if you go with no condom and no antiviral you still have a 4% transmission.
