Highway 90 in sulphur is already backed up from PPG Drive all the way to Beglis Parkway.

i was legit proud of him and very happy for his mom/dad (dad is my 1st cousin)

i then followed it up by seeing him at Captain America the next day (not planned)

lots of accidents in this area, espically when wet. 18 wheelers don't slow down . not enough signage. safety men need to impress on their drives this is DANGERous area

Took me about an hour and a half to get through maneuvering backroads. That was a shitshow.

I've been on Twitter trying to see what happened, and it just occurred to me that I should check here. That wreck looked rough. I heard something about the bridge in lake Charles being closed down due to vibrations or something too? What a shitty day to travel.

You hit the nail on the head. That area has a significantly lower speed limit, but most don't even slow down. Speed, curve, and a wet road and that is what you get. There is also a better-than-average chance that he was trying to avoid an idiot.
