I laughed.
My brother had some JNCOs when we were younger, they weren't as wide as the ones this dude is wearing though. He was into that whole raver scene shite.

I begged my Mom for a pair of JNCOs for months until she finally caved. I was so proud wearing them to school for the first time. I wasn't cool enough to have the super wide ones though. I had the more "normal" ones.

So this is what a liberal arts degree gets you?

There were some JNCO's that were not like 60 inches at the legs. They were still baggy, but they didn't look silly like this.

So brave.

So I had the Mammoth JNCO's in 8th grade (not sure how I talked my mom into buying these at Gadzook's for me)
I used to sell coke/soda at Central Middle (RIP) in BR during my PE hour instead of participating in PE. We used to push around a shopping cart down the hall and collect .50 cents or $1 for a small paper cup of coke and ice. We kept the money in a zipper bag and turned it in right before the bell would ring for 7th hour. There were times I had to run to the office to get it in time.
One day Coach Cashio (asst principal) and Coach Watts were sitting on a bench in the outside commons right in front of the office and I'm wearing these badboys, running full speed to the office to turn in the cash.
Right when I got in front of them I stepped on one of the pants leg and faceplanted on the concrete literally right in front of their feet. I busted my arse, they laughed their asses off. The next year they banned all Jnco jeans and any jeans over a certain width.
I remember that clearly

I remember wearing these jeans lol, the bigger the better. I had no worries in my life then.

I was big into the rave scene, during the mid 90's, and I had a few pair of JNCO's and Kikwears. Looking back, I don't why in the frick I ever wore that crap. Guess too much MDMA and micro dots would make you do stupid shite.

I worked at PacSun inside the University Mall in Tuscaloosa from '96-'99. I sold tons of these. Never tried a pair on because I wasn't a raver kid. But I saw tons of them and if you were one during that time-frame and shopped there then we've probably met before.

What is this," find myself" nonsense?

You need a wallet with a chain to complete the look. I assumed that anyone that wore those was on drugs.

I'm guessing you didn't need that much space to look.

Remember those well. We had a few losers wear them in school. They eventually went into the trench coat phase.

Me too. Pretty much like this
I had one pair of the super obnoxious JNCOs for a very short time. Came home after school, my granddad did a double take looking at me, put down his paper, got out of his recliner, walked over to me, looked me up and down, stepped back and looked more, gave me the most disappointed look I ever got from him, shook his head and said
"Nuh uh"
Then threw them in the fireplace after I took them off
