Serious question, is this a true story or is it a storyline from Game of Thrones or something?

Didn't read past here. I am going with the sister did it in a Chevy with her highschool boyfriend. And your "dad" is your granddad. Get a DNA test.

Yeah. I'm a bit skeptical of the OP (the post, not the poster) myself. I don't think many headstones even list the names of the deceased children.

If it is true, I'll add it to my list of things people should never post on the OT.

If the OP is true, if there's ever a situation where you and the other siblings have to sign a legal document, don't rely on the "family lawyer" they choose. Bring your own lawyer.

My count of a sister had a gift made for my parents and did not include the two step grandchildren. Every family has that bitch sibling.

You should get a chisel and write your name on it and cross your sisters out

I really hate it when people start a thread, a relatively good one, then respond a couple times, yet the thread is 7 pages.

If the land is in all the kids names and they want to keep it, force a sale. If they want to sell, refuse and make them go to court to try and force a sale.

You better make sure the contents of the house are not divided without you present. Your sister sounds like the type who would pull a "raid".

Sorry for your treatment.

I will tell you as someone who is going through the adoption process currently. The baby or babies that my wife and I end up adopting will be our kid(s). This process is not easy and an adoptive parent wants that child more than anything. I can promise you that your Dad loved you with all of his heart. Don't let your siblings ruin that for you. Forgive them and move on.

I adopted my oldest son when he was 3 years old. He'll be 18 next month and I love him just as much as my biological children. His baseball coach just found out last year that my son had been adopted. He coached him in USSSA for 8 years and had no idea. Always remember, like someone said earlier, he picked you.

I have a cousin who found out much later in life that the woman she was told her whole life was her mother was actually her grandmother and the person she was told was her sister was actually her mother.

She was born in the 60's when this was kind of a thing. Teen pregnancies shamed the family something fierce back then but, to have a reason for the baby, stories like this were made up.

Have you said yet what age you were adopted at and the circumstances of your adoption?

If you were adopted as a child and raised in the family your whole life, that's messed up as hell.

If you were like a siblings child and adopted as an adult after something happened to your parents and never really lived in the place it is still messed up but a different kind of messed up.

Think he said 2 days old ... it's messed up what the "family" is doing.
