Late to the party as usual but if you want selvedge jeans, look at the Levi's Vintage line you can buy online. I found 2 pairs of them in the Outlet store in Foley for about 75.00 each on sale. they are about twice that online but they are nice jeans.

No time between school and work. I work at 7:30am 30 minutes away (get there at 7:15), get home at 5, class at 6, get home at 9:15. Changed up my diet a week and a half ago to where I eat 6 times a day and no spaghetti or milk at night, and am down about 8 lbs to 180 in the morning now

My metabolism is already fast, so I needed to adjust what I was eating slightly, and changed when I was eating it. Talked to a family friend that is a respected nutritionist who told me what to eat. It's a big difference going from a whole box of shells and cheese, a 16oz steak, and a can of corn to a filet/pork chop/tuna steak and green beans or broccoli.

I used to eat huge dinners late at night. Not any more

Um....I farted like a mad man for the first week Feel exactly the same now. For the first week, I was full all day and hungry at night. Not anymore

The night before I started, I ate a whole box of hamburger helper, half one of those chickens from the grocery store, a frick ton of corn pudding, some spaghetti and sausage, three brownies and three chocolate chip cookies. Was amazing.

Just research Raw Denim jeans. They're thick, tough, and last forever. They aren't supposed to be washed.

When I was a kid they were called Toughskins.

Levi's makes raw denim for $60-$75. My first pair I broke in beautifully, but then they eventually shrunk from soaking. They went from dark navy blue, to faded with these badass honeycombs in the back. Working on my second pair, got a size up but just haven't had the commitment.

basically my same experience. Start with some fricking Levi's and make sure you ultimately give a frick.

And for the record I washed them not because of the smell but because it was clear I had spilled a couple things on them.

I don't think I'll ever pay up for anything more.

This is awful and way too much effort. Dude I know wears this crap and it stinks to high heaven because he hardly washes the damn things. He's a douche though.

After a quick google, I dont see the appeal. Sure they are supposed to last 1000+ washes, but at the price point, 4-5 pairs of Levis will do the same thing... Am I missing something?

Yeah I didn't know what it was either.... Seems like the type of "Tough Skin" jeans I had when I was a kid... It was like wearing an armor suit....

How tight is tight? Learn from my mistake. Careful trying to stretch them out. You'll get bit mounds on the knees that won't go away.

If these were any other article of clothing it would be returned, tight. I still have the tags on since I'm trying to convince myself this is how it's supposed to be. Everything I read is that they are supposed to be super tight since they'll stretch two or so sizes in the waist. Day one of a year without washing, I'm guessing they'll be fine.
