Define "alright".

We're in debt by the trillions, our race relationships are sketchy at best, and our country's morals were thrown out so as not to offend people.

The debt problem has been ongoing. I agree it is an issue though.

I think our race relationships aren't half as bad as you say. Media sensationalized everything now people are believing nonsense like "race relations have been set back 50 years". Apart from tensions between protestors in cities and some universities, I don't think race relations are bad at all, generally speaking.

And as for morals, it depends on how you define them. If they are from a religious context, yeah, you'll probably find those morals are moving farther away from what you're used to.

Would you promptly assimilate by wearing the clothes, speaking the language, perhaps changing religions, start eating local foods, etc?

Absolutely. I do this when I go on vacation. I don't just act like a tourist wearing obnoxious American clothes and only seeking out a McDonald's.

I usually buy clothes that match the area and I strive to fit in to the surroundings.

Of course, I'm not a scared little baby who csnt handle change or different surroundings.

That's nothing more than a lack of will power and a fear of leaving one's comfort zone.

Know who agrees with you? Fundamentalist Muslim terrorists. Good job picking a side.

By far the best counter argument I've seen in this thread.

This assumes moral relativism. Those people don't want to tolerate western style individualism, freedom, and capitalism. I don't want to tolerate islamic bullshite.

By the way, you need to take a reading comprehension course at LSU or something because this thread is specifically about Islam, asstwit.
