Didn't you do T25? Seems like I remember you posting in that long thread, maybe I'm remembering wrong though.

Les...you notice you don't really hear about the 5 finger shoes anymore. It's like they just magically faded away.

its not about carbs n shite, it's about your calorie intake.

you have to get your metabolism going, get that fricker working like furnace. Your body will burn calories like crazy.

have breakfast
100calorie snack around 9
lunch something lite/or protein bar
100 calorie snack/some fruit 200pmish
Dinner some chicken with veggies,etc
100calorie type snack at 7-8pm.

Your metabolism will begin to start working more.

While working at chrysler, i got fired for AWOL(i had a call in number, but they made me wait to get my job back, so i was not AWOL). I went through some BS, with family, gfriend, etc because of losing the job at the time and i went from 180ish to 245lb.

After they finally heard my grievance, i got my job back, with back pay, and in 5 months was back to 180ish.

It wasnt about carbs and the gimmicky bullshite people sell you on, it was getting your metabolism to burn calories like a furnace. I could come home from work, eat a meal, go to bed and not put on a pound.

I ate at nearly the same times, every day, with popcorn being my low calorie snack. Every dick and john used to make popcorn, and the plant would smell like burnt popcorn.

For me, i don't think i could put on major pounds, the silly shite we eat, such low calorie counts.(wife is veggie tardlian). So i just add chicken to the shite she makes.

Man, when i was putting on the pounds while being fired, i would eat fast food 4-5 times a day. Sure it was helped by being depressed n shite, but man was it bad. Jack n box was my evil, damn those 2 for 1 tacos!!!

I did. I didn't like it. It's a good program for someone who is out of shape and wants to shed some serious pounds.

And I think that company got in trouble for making false statements about the health benefits of that particular product

I would be glad to help if you want to make a trip to Colorado in the spring. South Platte is an awesome spot to learn and I have plenty of gear. A few class 3's but nothing sustained or too dangerous. That's where I started off

I have a rental in Moab right now
Really wishing I had mine with me but it's kind of a shitty hard tail

I've mainly been climbing in Indian Creek. I like to spend October and November in Utah then head back to summit county for winter

ETA: If we have any skiers who want to get out into the back country this season, buy avy gear and we can do a day of training then hit the back country

Really? Link?

I liked it but doing that program and all the jumping and lateral jumps messed up my foot(developed plantar fasciitis from it). I still have all my beachbody program videos though. I get bored so easily with workouts so I'm doing a combination of different videos at home and going to the gym for weight training. I miss having a personal trainer tbh, but not willing to pay the money for one right now. Just getting frustrated cause I'm hitting a wall with my results right now though.

Vibram, the company behind FiveFingers shoes, just settled a $3.75 million class action lawsuit over false claims that its running shoe yields health benefits, Runner's World reports. The thin-soled, flexible shoes, which cost about $100 a pair, are said to mimic the experience of running in bare feet, and thus "improve foot health" -- an unsupported claim the company falsely advertised.

My husband went biking there a year or so ago...he loved it there. He just recently did a bunch of biking in Bend, Oregon and used some company to ship his bike there. Came home from that trip with a demo fork on it from a bike shop there that cost him $700 but he kept telling me he got such a great deal on it cause they normally cost like $1400 for the one he wanted. What a freaking expensive hobby, he can never give me shite for any shopping I may do now

Best decision I made in my life was leaving the south. 4 years ago I was a little overweight and somewhat miserable with my life as it was mainly spent in bars chasing pussy. Now I feel like I am living the dream, and I don't get laid nearly as much to be perfectly honest

Do your even microbiome...
Lots of hardcore science pointing to this as the frontier of understanding how we look and feel

Quick hitters:

Frequent meals do not boost your metabolism (there is no science supporting this). This is a myth that has been popularized by people with products to sell

The food you do or should not eat (fasting) and restricting carbs (decreasing the effects of insulin) can have profound effects on the way you feel and partition fat.

The foods you should eat (fats /protein) have a profound effect on hormonal regulation of satiety

Micronutrients from greens matter more than most realize (gut microbiome)

Calories do not matter as much (read "Why we get fat" before you attempt to debate me in thermodynamics)

I would move to Utah or Idaho in a heartbeat but I don't know what kind of work I can do up there.

The biking here is world class. I am about to go hit slickrock in a few when I sign off of work for the day
