I need to lose weight

I'm 39 and I'm done with being fat. Since everyone on here is in perfect shape, tell me what foods I should definitely cut out. Fried foods? Sugar?

if your caloric intake is less than the amount of calories you burn then you will lose weight. Doesnt matter what you eat.

Go online and calculate what your maintenance calories are(the amount of calories it takes to maintain your current weight) Download a calorie counter app like my fitness pal to your phone. Eat five hundred calories below maintenance daily. Start a weight training program.

The process is not rocket science. However, some people lose weight more easily than others using the same exact methods so if you don't immediately get the results you want you shouldn't be discouraged. Just stick with it.

Fat is the new thin. Have you ever heard anyone say be skinny and happy? Of course you haven't, its fat and happy. Buy some bigger clothes and slam some burgers.

diet is the most important thing.
you're not gonna run 2 miles then eat a bucket of fried chicken and expect to lose much.

I was never fat or even overweight so I have never had to change my eating habits.
Obviously eat less and better and do more physical activity.
Correcting portion size and food choices are what I've heard pay the most and best dividends.
Good luck.
Once you get your weight fixed, then you can work on fixing the CFB team you support.

Me too Iron Lion.
I have steadily gained weight since my plantar fascitis started. I have not been able to run, and have to walk for exercise.
Walking sucks and my eating has not changed.
How about we start today? Use this thread to update our weight weekly. I am sure the OT would love to poke fun at the two of us.
