I read Goethe's Faust in 2010, and now I'm planning to get Dante's Divine Comedy this summer and read that.

References have been popping up about it everywhere. Rod Dreher has been writing a lot of articles on it, and lately my 2 favorite tv shows (really the only reason I ever watch tv besides LSU), Mad Men and True Detective, both have had long articles written about how they are mirroring Dante.

I might link to some stuff when I get home.

I also want to read Graham Greene's The Power & The Glory and that book The Bridge of San Luis Rey.

I second this. It can get a bit long-winded during the World's Fair parts, but overall very good and very interesting if you like history.

And now for my obligatory World War Z post. If you haven't read it, and you have any interest in the zombie craze, do it. It is a pretty quick read and very entertaining.
