I have a buddy up North whose wife went on a cheating spree with a guy.

She claims that she slipped on ice, hit her head, got amnesia, forgot she is married and spent New Year's weekend shacked up with and screwing some guy she met at a club.
He asked me for advice and I don't know what to say.
I'm thinking of telling him, "If it was just one guy, maybe it's not so bad."
Or should I say, "It could happen." ?

I doubt this is true, but if it is she has definitely convinced herself its not her fault and made up a BS story.

Has she given any evidence to show her story is true? Is there a knot on her head or has she been to the doctor?
Did she just go missing without warning that weekend or was she in contact and giving excuses as to her whereabouts?
If she's lying he needs to slip and hit his head and get amnesia for a weekend and see how she likes it.
And there's a 99.9% chance that she's lying. Women are generally psycho and I wouldn't put it past any woman, no matter how long or well I'd known her to come up with an insane lie like that. I once had a gf tell me that her friend was shot and murdered so that I'd let her spend the night instead of making her go home because I had to be at work at 5am.
