Since she had amnesia remind her of the 3 way she scheduled for next week with her, her sister and you. (or her female best friend whatever works.)

Tell her you know she's a freak bisexual and really want to satisfy her wishes. If she says oh hell naw...she's busted. Otherwise, hook up and profit.

If this is a serious post, make sure he doesn't get her pregnant, or worse yet when she's pregnant with the other guy's kid and has to raise the kid or pay child support because he was married to her at the time of the birth.

If it's a true friend who you've known forever, tell him to divorce immediately. If just an acquaintance/neighbor, stay out of the way.

shite like this, and OP's wife's amnesia story is where I draw the line. I can't stand embellished stories, and i dont know why so many people think we can't sense a lie.

"Seems the answer here is pretty simple "

I agree. The first thing he should do is make sure that she is feeling okay. Check for knots and abrasions and doctor them up with the TLC she deserves as a princess. He should follow up with a nice dinner at a fancy restaurant and a long walk in a park. Sit on a bench and massage her feet while she feeds the ducks. Finish the day by presenting her with a beautiful diamond pendant and thanking God in man/wife prayer that she is alive and well.

I like how people think there are 1000s of people that view this board.

Maybe 2-300, at most, and all of em downvoted this poster.

Two people, huh?

That is ridiculous. I would bet 25,000 view this board a day.

What difference does it make if he's my good buddy forever, my brother or whatever? Stay out of other people's marriage.
Let the Marriage Counselor handle it.

I can't believe why this is hard for some of you to understand. There is not upside to getting involved in somebody else's marriage, no matter what. That's the way I see it now that I've had time to think.

I can't believe that some of you would get involved in somebody else's marriage. Women and girls do that. I won't.

Did your buddy ask for your advice? Or did he just tell you the story for the hell of it? If he came to you for advice sometimes the things we don't want to hear is what we need to. If that's the case man the frick up and be a good friend by being honest. He's already getting enough lies from his wife. He doesn't need anymore from his friend.

You're taking the weak way out. Be a friend. Tell him what he needs to hear, not what you feel comfortable saying.

It's bad enough she did this, but the amnesia part is over the top.

That's a nice post, but, it's better to stay out of it, IMHO.

The more I think about it the more I'm convinced that it would be a HUGE mistake for me to say anything other than suggest marriage counseling and NOT get myself involved in any way. It would be stupid for me to suggest that she's a liar. If they make up, I'll be the bad guy. I'm not going to involve myself in their marriage in any way.

Anybody who disagrees just hasn't thought this thing through.

You got to say something if you are a real friend, it might not be best for the short term, but long term... It will be better.

She claims that she slipped on ice, hit her head, got amnesia, forgot she is married and spent New Year's weekend shacked up with and screwing some guy she met at a club.

I thought this part was a joke about her being a whore.

She actually claimed this?

Just divorce the bitch and be done with it before he winds up raising some other man's kid. If she wanted strange dick before, she will want it again.
Get rid of her and get a better female.

Getting 205 downvotes is impressive. Seemed like obvious sarcasm to me? Or is it bc people just hate Walt?

First off, I have a feeling this story is bs because no one could be this stupid.
But if for some reason it is true, your friend asked you for advice. And you need to tell him the end the marriage immediately. Not even just for the cheating but for insulting his intelligence by telling the most bullshite excuse I have ever heard
