The morning of my open heart surgery they pretty much shaved me from the neck down. Three nurses, three sets of electric clippers. It was a surreal experence to say the least. In fact it's the last thing I remember before they put me out.

Glad it worked out for you Darth! I flat-lined for 4 minutes years back from a heart attack. You are correct, you gotta treat life like its worth living.

Darth, anything specific (behavioral, not physiological) that this experience will make you do differently or stop doing or start doing?

You know Zevon's deathbed advice was "Enjoy every sandwich", something along those lines?

Glad you're on the mend, like wise Roger said, frick the haters.
