Wow. Glad you made it. My dad had a quadruple bypass and valve replacement in 09/2015. He had a lot of issues too. He was on the rat poison meds. Not sure if he still is. I know he is on quite a bit of other things. He had a home nurse come and check on him while my mom was at work. She was a nurse too. Had to quit though because she was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer 6 weeks into my dad's recovery.

Oh...did you have any hallucinations? My dad said he saw people in White around him. In clothes like from the 60s-70s. They would look at him when he tried to see their faces.
He doesn't remember much of it now. Was freaky when he talked about it.

To be honest, I don't remember a thing about that night. The last thing I remember was sitting in the recliner in my room (It was more comfortable to me than the bed) and really struggling to breath. The nurses were trying to get me back in the bed but I didn't want to go. This was around 7 or so I think. The next thing I know I woke up about 4 AM in the bed and had a breathing tube down my throat wondering what the hell happened.

Pericardial tamponade. Damn close call. Good thing they were on top of things. Glad you pulled through. It does make me think twice, as I deal with a heart condition as well. Upvote just to be a rebel.
