I come here to mark this anniversary to remind everyone to never take the next day, the next moment, or even the next breath for granted because we're not guaranteed anything. Live life to its fullest. Don't waste your precious time on things like hate, anger, envy. Don't worry about things that pass like wealth and "stuff". None of that matters in the end. Be happy, forgiving, and make sure everyone in your life who is important knows you love them. In short, go live today like it's your last day on earth because you never know, it could be.

Sure, if in the end all you leave behind is your footprints.

If you leave behind a family, especially a young one, wealth is not exactly the root of all evil.

Wealth isn't the root of all evil, being wealthy is a blessing.

Okay guy who tries to find pity for his near death experience on a forum.

if he's doing this for a selfish reason, i'm not sure 'pity' is the reason ... he did live, after all ...

Yeah. It's basically rat poison from what I understand. And I'll be on it, or something similar the rest of my life. I hope they can move me to a different med so I don't have to keep getting my blood thickness checked all the damn time.
there are some home monitors you can use, go to Roche website for their coag stuff.

Hopefully you have a new appreciation for manscaping

It's a refreshing feeling

Very glad you're alive and well. May you REALLY enjoy this Christmas and make the most out of 2017

Seriously man, glad you're ok. That's terrifying.

Congrats on the gift of getting to live longer to enjoy the beauty, awesomeness, pain, and sorrow that is our mysterious experience on our swirling marble in the sky.

I think about the meaning of life every single day. Glad that you're still around to do the same.

I think people just get sad when they read his post. Sad that he genuinely needs so much attention. Then sadness leads to anger when he doesn't stop. Then the mom jeans pic gets posted and anger leads to hate.

I'm new, but WTF is the backstory on this? I've seen this referenced multiple times.

Getting there, my friend. Just dealing with a bitch of an ex wife. Making Christmas miserable, you know? Glad to hear you are doing well!
