There is pretty good model support at this time with both the Euro EPS and the GEFS showing a spread of possible solutions across the western Gulf by the end of next week:

Hey rds dc. Do you know any school that offers a portion of their meteorology curriculum on-line?

I'm sure there are schools that offer online met and atmos sciences courses, if you look for them.
There is some free stuff that is pretty good:
MetEd
Practical Met - online version
Tropical Met - online version

Thanks
I was thinking about getting an actual Meteorology degree over the next few years, while working in my current field.

Meh, I unfortunately now live in Atlanta, it´ll bring needed rain. No big deal.

Can't really say, given how far out in the Atlantic it is at this time. Currently, it looks like it could have more issues with SAL than 97L.
It will also probably have more issues with shear than 97L but shear can be tricky in the longer range. The MDR has been kind of odd acting the past few seasons, maybe b/c of changes in the Hadley Cell?
