An overdose doesn't mean death.

The heroin epidemic is just sad. I wish it was taken more seriously in this country, but it is just going to get worse before it gets better.

The ones where it doesn't work are usually awake but really altered, and there is something else going on.

The ones that it works on are usually blue, about 10 seconds away from getting a breathing tube, and may or may not have CPR ongoing.

Think about the non-addict who had a heart attack and couldn't get an ambulance during this time period.

It was probably an episode of the HBO show 'VICE' called 'Heroin Crisis'. I may have to catch it on HBOGo

Maybe it's an Angel of Death intentionally trying to kill junkies.

Wonder if there was something a little extra in the Heroin, like Fentanyl?

That shite claimed a couple family members a couple weeks back. Coroner said there was something else in the heroin. Think I started with an F.

I did too. Until I read this.

Yep. Hillbilly Herioin as it is called in those parts. It is so bad that the state and Feds yesterday announced in a press conference they are going after the providers of the heroin with stiffer sentences and prison time.
