They legit have people who follow the vans from Elmwood in the morning then by a much as they can. Only some stores are imposing limits. Someone was selling them for $6 each on Facebook the other day.

Someone at work the other day said they didn't like jelly donuts. Cool. What about Hubigs Pies (sorta the same, but diff)? Never heard of 'em. Nobody had even heard of them. I proceeded to ask several older people who I know are from here (BR area). Never heard of 'em. I thought I was going insane. Finally this one dude said yeah they're making 'em again. He started asking ppl too, but nobody made fun of him cuz he's kewl. I'm now convinced these ppl are foreigners acting like they're from here. Is it just my bubble? They used to be EVERYWHERE. Oh and I asked diff sorts, same answer. Now, this is my litmus test for a true South Louisianian. Had to vent, thanks for reading if ya got this far.

Just picked one up in BR. Had one last week and it was watery as well. The one I just had wasn’t. It was as good as I remember the old ones being.
I feel like I am hurting myself in revealing where they are…but Maxwell’s on Perkins has some right now. At least 3 dozen of apple and lemon.

Had a lemon one this week. Wasn't watery at all like some others have posted about, but I noticed there was not nearly as much sugar on it as it used to have. Maybe that's a good thing lol
