With a helicopter of course. Video in the link.

I didn't see anything on the first two pages, so if it's been posted already you get to see this again. Deal with it.

I saw it mentioned on the rant but still cool.
I loved it when the infield needed to dry out and Tookie would throw gas around and set it on fire while we raked.
One time we pulled out a generator and shop-vac for short right field and it sucked arse.

Glad you mentioned the fire used.... LSU also used a helicopter at least one time in a regional.

My HS baseball team was supposed to play Neville in the State quarterfinals in Alex Box Stadium years ago. Baton Rouge got almost a foot of rain the night before and we had to play somewhere else. They used a helicopter to dry the field and it worked.
Can't remember the field in BR, but all you could see was the outfielders from the waist up from home plate, it had such a steep grade.

My brothers little league team had that done way back when ... The orthopedist in town was a pilot and had a chopper for quick trips to "local" hospitals. Pretty cool.

I remember before Nicholls had artificial turf, they used air boats to dry off the field for saints camp one time

I've told my buddies here in Ohio about a helicopter and gas/burning the infield. They could not believe me until I pulled out some youtube vids

We pour deisel on the dirt then put gas on top of that and light it on fire. Dries the dirt up pretty quick but the EPA doesnt like it.

That would be catholic high before they reworked. Had that big oak tree that hung over foul territory in short right too
