All they need to do is just come in on the westcoast and tell them they are raicist and a xenophobic, for wanting to stop them. The invading force could get to Colorado before they meet resistance. PC pussies are the ruination of the US.

The location of the US alone would make it difficult for a country to invade the US. It would have to be done from both the north and south border and they would have to gain a lot of ground fast.. But it would take a non-traditional way of invading to have higher success..

Somebody would need to nuke and emp the us for it to even be possible. After the nuke a emp attack and than all the the nuclear power plant meltdowns who the frick would want to invade?it would bea wasteland, the power plant failures would probably ko the planet

The West Coast states are armed to the nines dating back to WWII. We were afraid of a Japanese attack so we have machine gun nests and underground bunkers up and down the coast.

Lots of posters seem to think the "Left Coast" wouldn't fight an invader
Just so you know, 757 native California sons have died in battle since 2001
9/11 proved that while our nation may have some fractures along political lines, we rally together when attacked.
If an invader were to be successful, they would have to attack with WMD (nuke or biological), negate our tech advantage through cyber and space warfare, and finally bring a SHITE ton of supplies/soldiers.
Our Navy is postured on both coasts and would make it very difficult for supplies/reinforcements to come across via naval shipping. The enemy would have to somehow gain naval superiority which would be damn near impossible unless some previously unknown weapon is unveiled in the opening moments of the invasion that destroys our carrier battle groups

They still wouldn't make it ashore because we have enough air bases that could scramble fighter jets quickly, plus land based guided missiles that'll take can take out their ships.
But IF somehow the invaders made it ashore, they wouldn't get very far considering how many millions of armed civilians would fight back. West coast might be full of gun control promoting liberals, but there's still a sh*tload of 2nd amendment supporters out there

Plus Texas has geography an army can work with. California they'd get killed. You blow out a couple of bridges in the right spots, they're sitting ducks. Seriously, good luck taking the West Coast that has 100 million people living there, many of them armed, surrounded by forests, mountains, and deserts.

China would be a problem. It would be interesting to see how long they could go, and whether their economy would be able to sustain the material necessary for an invasion.
The great advantages we would have over them is 1) Our economy is stronger and if we had to re-boot manufacturing for a war we could (supply and demand) and 2) Getting past the Rocky Mountains might be a problem for them. They could go under the Rockies through New Mexico but they'd then have to go through Texas, where everybody and their mama is armed.
The Russians are a paper tiger. They can play with us right now in the Middle East and Eastern Europe because Obama is feckless, but I'm not sure they'd make it past the Central Valley (they certainly wouldn't make it past Alaska if they tried that route.) North Korea couldn't take Bakersfield, much less California.
However, this is the reason we have nuclear weapons. If any country tried this kind of stunt, they'd see one of their cities nuked. The day large-scale invasions ended was the day Hiroshima was obliterated.
