Id say before kids a healthy ratio is a couple times a week. Once kids come, you are lucky to get once a week to every other week.
Initiated by her: every other day if I wasnt too tired from work so its typically at least once a week. She usually just asks me if I had a rough day at work or how tired I am. If I answer that my day was good, I know I better eat my wheaties.
