Beaucoup, toujours... Lafayette/Vermilion Parish. Parents are fluent. I can sling a few phrases myself.

Less and less. I heard a lot when I was young. Lived in St Landry parish for 40 yrs then Lafayette 15 yrs.

My entire family speaks it. I've learned a little but not enough. I need to work on that .

Been in Louisiana since 2012 and I'm not sure I've ever heard it spoken except for a few French tourists visiting NOLA.

about all I hear in NOLA; that and a few people who throw around some French phrases that they learned in school.

I used to visit a hunting camp in St Landry in the 90s and the guys who ran hounds spoke the kind of French that wasn't even taught at LSU.
