How often do you get an eye exam and what's the current status of your vision?

I'm going once a year and I'm at 20/15 vision. Eye health is very underrated.
Any abnormalities are best to be detected early. Lutein is a great supplement for eye health.

My ophthamologist has told me that I have the vision of a hawk. I still go for check-ups on an annual basis for some of the reasons listed in your OP.

Got glasses for the first time ever this week. Three years ago the DMV told me if I missed one more line on the vision test I would need glasses. Went to renew this year and I missed that line....
Turns out I'm near-sighted and at risk for glaucoma. I now need an eye exam once a year to make sure my ocular nerve doesn't degenerate.

My vision is terrible. Just terrible.
I go whenever I feel I need a new prescription... it's probably about time. I think it has been about two years now.
ETA: -11.25 in each eye

Got contacts about 2.5 years ago, haven't been back. Will need to order more soon, I may go before then.

I haven't been to the eye doctor in probably 3-4 years, but the last time I went I had 20/10, which is apparently pretty dang good, at least that's what my doc said.
How hereditary is vision? Because everyone in my family (parents and sister) wears glasses except for me and I couldn't be happier about that.

Once a year for work, apparently staring at a computer screen for half the day since about age 10 has done nothing to my eyes...yet.
