I knew two people who OD'd and died. There are people I know of who has OD'd, one I can think of who died.
I have a cousin who is an addict. Has been to rehab a few times, her last time going was early in the summer and so far she seems to be doing better. She at least has a job now and started doing volunteer work. Basically trying to keep herself busy. I think coming close to losing custody of her child has motivated her to finally take getting clean serious.
Well, some of the people I know of, who OD'd, I don't think they all were heroin addicts. One guy, is the son of a family my parents were always good friends with. He is 6 or 7 years older than me. And this was maybe 3 or 4 years ago. He got hooked on pain meds. He lost his job, wife divorced him... Was given a second shot at another job that was good as the job he had... In 2 months he was fired from that one.. I have no idea what his status is now.

Cousin I grew up with broke his back and got addicted to pain killers. Year later he OD'd on heroine. Left a wife and young daughter behind. Sad stuff

You’re the only person I know that can take one simple question and make it a three paragraph long answer

I know 3 guys who have died from OD'ing on heroin. 1 was a friend, the other 2 I just knew because we'd smoke a little weed together on the weekends. Most of us got it out of our systems after college, but some of them just went deeper into the drug scene. All of those guys came from good family situations, too.

None. You need to re-evaluate what kinda crowd you run with and where they are taking you.
You would be surprised the shite people do that you are unaware of.

You should message him on Facebook.

One possible. Socially prominent so it was covered up, but this person had a drug problem and no other known health issues. 2+2=4.

1 good friend, and another guy who was more of an acquaintance. He worked at my buddies auto shop. I know some others that have battled with the addiction for several years.

My uncle died from heroin overdose about 5 years ago. We have no other addicts on either side of the family.
