Had to go do it my sophomore year of college. I had no idea that I could get of it though by being in school so I went and sat through it. Didn't get picked but I have bad luck so I'm sure I'll get called back soon.

36 and I've never been. Got a notice once a couple years ago. Called the number the night before my scheduled date...didn't have to go

Wouldn't have been that big a deal, my work will pay us for jury duty anyways.

My dad was on jury duty to be on the grand jury for a trial involving Barry Seal.

He was quickly dismissed though because he was friends with someone who once worked for Mr Seal.

I get called every year like clockwork...

Served as a jury foreman once.
Been dismissed as potential jurors twice because the trial was so frickin long.
Couple of times didn't have to even go to the court house.

After having served as a foreman...people do not give a shite about evidence, they vote from their heart. (this was a civil trial on an eminent domain issue)

Been for jury selection once, wasn't chosen. Mississippi judges don't put up with crap excuses, either, btw. Lucked out because the accused in the case was a child molester and I made sure to mention that I help treat abused children. The defense didn't want no part of this.
