I have spent 391 days of my life in sweet, glorious Florida. Each day was more delightfully jorty than the previous day.

I grew up on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, and probably went to the beach somewhere on the Florida panhandle at least once a year. I never really saw the point in this as I grew up right across the street from the beach.
One spring break, my family drove from Mississippi all the way to Key West. We spent a night in Miami on the way down, and drove through the Everglades. My dad hit a deer in broad daylight in the Everglades National Park.
In college I made a trip to Gainesville to see Tim Tebow and Percy Harvin make the Jarrett Lee led Tigers look like a High School team.
I have been to Orlando 7 or 8 times, and this included my Honeymoon. My wife loves Disney World, so I expect I'll make a trip to Orlando at least every other year for the rest of my life.

Naples in the 80s a few times when grandpa lived there. Disney in the early 80s.
Vanderbilt beach.
Marco island.
Imperial GC.
Ate at the Paddlewheel, and the Pippin.
Saw Ghostbusters at a mall because it rained all day.
Got my first pair of Nike there.
That's most of my FL memories.

Spent a bunch of time in Stuart/Jensen Beach area. Grand parents retired there. Kicked out of a bar in West Palm for underage drinking.

If anyone gets the chance, retire to Belle Glade / South Bay. It's a real up and coming area.

I've been to Miami, Orlando, Tampa, Panama City and Destin. Enjoyed every place I've visited.

Grew up 30 minutes from the border so I've been probably hundreds of times. Never been to Miami though. Need to get down there

Drive there as little as possible. The last time we drove went to longboat key. By the time we got there I was about to suffer from a heart attack and stroke. Half those idiots over there shouldn't even be allowed to own a car, much less a drivers license
