why on earth would you pick jacksonville?

Traffic isn't bad like Miami / Tampa / Orlando, it's easy to get up to the mountains on a long weekend, my wife works in the medical field and Shands Jax is a good place to work.

I've been in West Palm for 12 years and love it here. I lived in Jacksonville for about 5 months before I moved here. That place sucks big time.

Jacksonville is a nice city to live in, once you find your niche. As a visitor, it probably does seem like never ending disgusting sprawl. And much of it is, but I rarely go to those areas anyway.

My wildest experience in Florida was destin. 3 chicks in one day. One I had been doing for a couple days and did around noon. The other was a drunk chick that followe me and a friend from a beach party to the hotel (on the beach) whom we ran a train on. We went back to the party and eventually came back up to the room where we saw some girls on the floor above us who called us up. I took one for the team and did a fat chick and my friend didn't even hit the other girl. Turned out to be a church trip. Didn't care. Got 3.

Favorite place is Santa Rosa beach at a family beach house. The place wa more upscale and the beach wasn't littered with trashy people. In fact, I don't remember seeing any. Saw Kenny chesney, romo and his then GF Jessica Simpson at the bar one night there.

Then your typical destin, Pensacola, Orlando Disney trips and typical spring break spots.

Places like destin, Pensacola and panama was fun for high school kids but places like Santa Rosa beach are better for adults.

Three times I think, all when I was a kid.

Once b/c Disney World, another b/c of Sea World, & the other time I went to a Jacksonville Jags game when they played against the Dolphins, dad was a huge Phins fan and I wanted to see what an NFL experience was like.

Oh I lied, I also went to Gainesville once during Holtz era to see us play against UF.
