Uhh it's like four hours. You don't even need to stop to refill assuming you did so prior to leaving.

You sound like this dude from down the bayou I went to Houston with. I swear the farthest he ever drove was from cut off to Houma. Dude had to pull over in laffy and I drove the rest of the way.

You may have to stop to piss in Lake Charles but that's it.

Ice down a 12 pack of your favorite beer

Get on I-10 west

When you open your 12th beer that means you are in Houston

It's science

psh, the gf knew before leaving for any road trip that I would not be stopping unless it was for gas. I even told her where I would be stopping, and how long it would take to get there

same with one of my buddies who can't drive for more than 45 min at once.

That's not a long drive. There are a open stretches of highway, but it's not that bad because at least you hit a decent sized city about every hour along the route to break up the monotony.

There will always be radaring cops around the bend in Lake charles and the area between welsh and crowley. Traffic sucks through Beaumont. Use Waze in Houston to get where you want to go.

It's not hard at all. 4.5 - 5 hours

And that's from BR to Spring, TX

BR to Houston is like 4 hours...not ling distance at all

I drove from houma to the west side of houston and back a few months ago. Same day. Not a big deal.

The drive won't seem as long if you pick up a hitchhiker. Of course, it could end up being your last drive, but imagine the story you'll have for friends if it turns out okay.

Based on your question, I'm thinking it will probably be among the hardest things you've ever tried to do.

Just stay home if you think driving in a straight line might be hard.
