Wait. You don't right?
Next question. So why did you post in this thread? To be edgy?

I enjoy it. I love my priest (had drinks with him on occasion). He's a cool dude and brings life to the scriptures and really, I think he preaches more about morality and being a good person than literal bible interpretations. To be honest, I don't really care for some priests when I travel. Especially when they're monotone.
One dude went off about charities for animals and said we should be giving to people. Had a point but he kind of belittled people who donated to animal charities. Dilivery makes a difference, like most things.

Stomach growling can be a problem.

I say sleepy but the truth is I haven't been to a church service in over a decade (weddings and funerals don't count). I do remember when I was younger getting freaked out when I would go to church with my grandmother during a Pentecostal revival. The people speaking in tongues and running around full blast bouncing off of shite was always solid entertainment.

I usually never like it. I'm a non believer but am helping raise the kids Catholic.

Depends on the church. If it's Catholic I feel somber and sad and tired. Baptist churches often make me feel like it's a time to shake hands, make business deals, and show off the wife and kids. Full gospel, Pentecostals, etc can bring out different emotions either a need to get really relly excited and show it while dressing like I'm on vacation and longing for a feeling or experience to hit me, or doubting my salvation by constantly wondering if I'm saved or not by preachers constantly getting you to question and doubt it. And then there's the occasion when I run into a church that actually teaches the meat of the scriptures rather than the milk toast, brings depth and understanding and relevance through understanding Jewish history, tradition, and other things that cause scripture to make more sense, come alive, and be applicable to my life, and so then I usually find myself surrounded by people who are there for serious reasons and a place to grow in a serious Christian walk. The trouble is, I can't find many of these around to get involved in or feel like a place I can become a part of here, so sadly I just find it best to stay home many times. Maybe it's not the best answer, but it's about as good as going to play church and religion at many churches I see around me,

Makes me feel sorry for the priest. Used to make be feel sorry fit the nuns, but I don't see so many of them these days.

I hope everyone goes to church and feels better. Keeps the golf course less crowded when I play Sunday mornings.

Calm down.
I posted in the thread because it asked a question and that answer popped into my mind.
I was born, raised and confirmed Catholic, so it isn't as if I have no experience with going to services. I still attend church with my family for certain functions.
I wasn't trying to be inflammatory.

Haven't been in 8 years, don't plan on ever going again.
But to answer the question..

Usually reminds me of what an awful person I am condemned to a lifetime of sin because I see hot chicks all diddied up and have uncontrollable lustful thoughts about them right while I'm sitting there in the Lord's house. Hot chicks should have to wear burqas to church. They're distracting.
