There's an option after the ride is complete. Believe it's on a scale from 1-5

Yes, maybe I should have asked what do you rate them and why?

Something like OT 8 IRL 6...

Scale is only OT 1-9, no such thing as a OT 10.

No rating for male drivers.

If they get me somewhere without injury, they get 5 stars.

4-5 because they're usually deserving of that and if they have too many ratings below 4 they get booted.

uber is very particular about the quality of their drivers, so rating them a 3 for trivial shite is an a-hole thing to do.

if they're on time, friendly, know where they're going, and get you there safely, it's a 4-5

That sounds reasonable. You would think 4 out of 5 is a good grade but Uber drivers have to maintain a 4.7 or they will get deactivated. (In full disclosure, I am a part-time Uber driver).

I've rated all my drivers 5. About 8 rides total. Never had a bad experience.

Using the Über app :rimshot:

In all seriousness I've only given one driver less than a 5 and he deserved the 1 I have him. Über agreed and refunded my money for the trip
