If you're black or drive an older, more beat up car—you get pulled over more often for minor violations. If you smoke, the cop will probably smell weed and eat your arse for it.

I know someone that got busted smoking at their house in college.
His roommate had a traffic ticket that he didn't pay, cops knocked on the door, smelled weed when other dude opened the door.

frick if I know. I got caught with weed, guns, several hundred in cash, and a gram or so of blow. Cops threw the drugs away and called my parents.

You do know if you were black. You would've gotten at least ten years in the penitentiary. That's a cop wet dream to catch you with drugs, guns, and money. In all honesty I can't believe you. I just can't see a cop letting you go free after being caught with all three together. Must be nice to be white.

You're telling me. But, it happened. My girlfriend and my old roommate can tell you. Worked at a bar at the time so the cash was in my bar shirt pocket. Guns were mostly In the safe except my vp9 which I kept by my couch. It was an eye opening experience that's for sure. But yeah, they called my parents, had them come to my house. Showed them what I had, threw it all away, and released me to my parents. 23 at the time too.
But hell I've gotten out of some tricky situations.
Also it was a white and a black officer who did it.

Helpful tip for all you weed smokers: Keep that shite at home. The home receives much more protection under the law. If you're forced to travel with it, don't smoke it in the car. If you smoke that smelly shite, invest in an airtight container.

every law enforcement agent from a three parish area descended upon this town with a couple hours.
the road block up by the bridge had so many cop cars the entire sky was flashing blue and could be seen from a mile away.
then this idiot drives right up to the road block rolls down his window and smoke comes pouring out. big bag of pot in his lap, lit joint dangling from his mouth and asks "man is there a parade today or something?"
that's the most sure fire way to get arrested for possession i ever heard.

Herb in an airtight slickball container. Which is in turn in a gallon zip lock filled with dryer sheets. Sealed up, put in the back of the jeep. Been pulled over a few times like that n never had em say a thing. Although having the top off and doors off probably helped dissipate any residual smell.
