There's plenty of that stuff shown in the news.

1. End all federal entitlements
2. End the War on drugs
3. FAIR Tax Act
4. Reform our education corriculum and out evaluation criteria
5. End all federal subsidies for private business
6. End all ethenol mandates
7. Repeal Obamacare and allow competition for health insurance across state lines
8. Pull the military out of foreign entanglements and take a defensive role while cutting their budget tremendously
9. Repeal the Patriot Act and end domestic spying on Americans not under investigation for crimes
10. Get the federal government out of the student loan and housin loan businesses.
11. Bar government entities from using race as a basis in any decision-making criteria (hiring, firing, school enrollment, grant applications, ect)
12. Replace party primaries for president with a national open primary on a saturday in August (before football season) decided by the popular vote. Majority vote by any candidate wins the presidency. If no candidate gets a majority, the runoff is held between the top 2 candidates exactly 4 weeks later. The runoff is decided by the electoral college. Ties are decided by the house of representatives.
13. Repeal the 17th Amendment. Allow senators to be chosen by their state legislatures and recalled whenever they wish to. That way the states themselves have a vote in our National Politics to trump the interests of the big money who want to consolidate all power in one national easily bribable legislative body.

None of this will be easy, but in 10 years, we will have a stronger, more economically viable nation.

vote for Trump and keep socialism out of the executive branch...keep it out of all branches of the government...then limit said government and let people have freedom and liberty in a free market economy with minimal regulations that creates jobs and the increases the GDP......get trade bargains in place that don't benefit other countries over the U.S.....stop devaluing the currency and audit the practices of the FED...those are just a few things for a start

additionally.....stop the breaking down of the traditional family unit...future generations would be better off for it...it would also slow a lot of the current dindu and gimme gimme mentality that plagues a certain part of the population...

In the late 60's the country was extremely divided, no? But there is no way that the country was even close to being as divided as it is now back then right?

We spend 10 times more than the next country. Trust me, we can do less and still be just as safe if not safer. We have stretched ourselves too thin trying to defend every inch of the globe at once from everyone. Let Europe defend Europe. Let Israel defend Israel. Let Iraq defend Iraq. Let Japan and Korea and Taiwan and every other nation on earth defend itself. Let's defend America.

Hell yes on most of these, but I would add that if you take 1 penny of any kind of government assistance, you cannot vote. Loser pays legal system as well.

Personal responsibility needs to make a comeback, morality and seeing yourself as the provider for you family instead of the government would be next.

Oh, and the government needs to quit buying voters with tax dollars.

I think one way that can really help this country is people being more educated on the issues. We are a divided nation, we are divided between two parties, we are divided by race, and religion.

There are other things that people are quick to judge others on and that creates "hate". We are a nation that thinks we have to be one way or the other and it causes a "use against them" mentality.

If people were more aware of the facts then there would be less one sided views.

OP 22. Forget about saving anything but yourself and your family.

You are not the savior of anything else, not even your own neighborhood.

There has always been a divide. I truly believe it is less now than in the past. Crime is at its lowest in almost half a century as is interracial crime. However, social media and 24 hour news can make even the slightest transgression much larger than it really is.

I second that notion. This kind of stuff always happened, but social media makes it easy to polarize and fixate on certain things that fit "the narrative"
