Homeless or jail?

If you had to wake up one morning and choose one option, which would you pick:
Homeless, no friends or family to help, zero dollars to your name. You basically wake up with nothing but the streets to hustle your way to a meal, money, or shelter.
Or...
Falsly accused of a victimless crime, (theft, drug smuggling, etc) and having to serve 10 years behind bars with no chance of parole.
What situation would you pick?

Homeless. Would then sell drugs and end up in jail.

Homeless as long as I can use my resourcefulness to get out of my situation. If I can't and I'll be homeless eating out of garbage cans for 10 years then it depends on the jail/prison.

Being homeless wouldn't be too bad just setup your panhandling by a subdivision and get money from the Milfs

Meant more non-violent crime. In other words, you'll have a record when you get out but it wasn't like you murdered, raped, or molested anyone.

If you make 50 cents a red light and there's a red light every 2.5 minutes. $12/hour. Not bad imo.
ETA- Homeless 100%. AND it's untaxable so $12/hour is really $15.60/hour

Do you really think someone gives the homeless money at every red light? I'm thinking 1 every ten light cycles. But it's going to be more than $0.50.

Homeless.
I'd pick myself up off the ground earn everything back only better. The most difficult part would be losing the friends/family...I'm not afraid of losing material possessions but losing those close to me would be devastating.

Watched "Drugs Inc" on NatGeo TV. They showed two methheads in Boston. One panhandled, the other was a nasty arse hooker. Both earned $40 for their next hit in less than 2 hours of "work". I was shocked at the panhandler getting that much and this nasty girl having a "regular" .
