Blowing up your house is a great way to draw attention to yourself, especially if after the explosion you are no where to be found. Criminals are dumb but that would be extremely stupid. You could dispose of evidence any number of ways and they weren't too worried about disposing of these bodies so they wouldn't be found. I am guessing whomever did this knew the victims and despite killing them had enough respect for them (if you can call it that) to make sure their bodies were recovered. I am going with someone who worked for them or used to work for them or family.

there were 5 people in that house when it blew up. i think yall are making a pretty big stretch trying to tie these 2 events together

Fair enough, but 5 people escaped unharmed from the house fire. It just doesn't add up.

Yea, I didn't see that five people were there when it happened. There goes my theory. I figured it was a stretch.

I was told no one was home at the time of the fire. Neighbors passing by alerted fire crews.

I trust the person I was informed by more than a news source.

When standard ammunition cooks off, it's not as dangerous as it sounds. The force is not focused down the barrel of a gun, so the bullet is not propelled with much force.

Looks like Slinky's source is better than news sources.
UPDATE: Nobody was in the home at the time of the explosions...

Was there a getaway driver in Hammond? Did the criminal(s) have a car already parked there?
I assume the murders drove their own vehicle to the victims house. Since they didn't find a vehicle at the scene, I assume they left in two vehicles to keep evidence from getting in their own vehicle. But why bring the bodies to Hammond in the first place? If they killed them at the house, why not just leave them there and flee? Makes me think maybe there could have been some kind of kidnapping for money plan gone wrong.

I wonder if they had a plan to travel further, maybe to hide the bodies, but freaked out, maybe something screwed up in their plan and they dropped them. Who knows, time will tell.

different reports from different sources. i think it's safe to say there may have been people home or the house may have been empty
Posted on 10/20/15 at 12:37 pm to gmrkr5
I'm leaning toward nobody being home at the time. Two explosions and a massive fire rip through one house with five people in it and nobody is injured? I'm not buying it. Nobody was home at the time this happened.
