Does anyone want to mention the numerous subs that Spinosa didn't pay for their work on Perkins Rowe?

Yep, my dad's cousin's company is still owed $300,000 for structural steel work.

Can't be. The other poster says everyone got paid unless their work sucked. That and the fact TS has never done anything wrong and everyone else in Baton Rouge is involved in a city wide conspiracy to besmirch his good name. LoL.

TS ha !he must have gotten advice from ole Al copeland
AL's company still owns the seasoning and recipes for chicken! They can't change it due to the franchise agreement . So while he lost it all he still kept it all!

No mention that the new owners construction crews last week accidentally cut the JTS owned chill water lines cutting off a/c to not only Perkins Rowe but also the Nuromedical center. Neuromedical has been running on a rented temp chiller since last Thursday. This will get intresting

And I pray that they subdivide Rouzan, Tommy makes a ton of money off the pieces and a bunch of independent developers turn into another jumbled piece of shite with no continuity. BR seems to love that so much.

While i would hate to see that happen, that is what Southdowns deserves. At this point I wish they would build projects there

nice power play by the owner

Are you referring to "nice power play" by the
Central Facilities owner...because if so, I totally
disagree. As a matter if fact, nice power play by
the new owners of Perkins Rowe. I promise you,
that was his ace in the hole...and he just got called
on it. Before the new owners even bought PR,
a solid plan was in place for the ownership to build their own chilled water-system....like in 2012. Once the new ownership
began digging up streets/sidewalks with infrastructure -- that got somebody's attention!!

You can spin this anyway you want. It was not
part of Central Facilities plan. Now, they're only option is
for them to take a haircut on the deal.

I'd hazard a bet that all the contractors that got stiffed by that piece of dog shite that is Tommy Spinosa would see things quite differently than you do.

Anybody that's been around development or commercial construction in Baton Rouge over the last several decades knows all about that cocksmocker.

That's either an outright lie or just a glaring example of your ignorance. Fisk got paid, and maybe a few others. That's all. Tommy and his people (including that asshat he had working for him named Walt who signed off on the wrong liner for that pool over Barnes & Noble that leaked) in almost ever case claimed unsatisfactory work or any other loophole/trumped up reason they could to not pay their bills.

I remember when Tommy ran off the original general contractor so that he could put his own company in that spot. shite from a joke to a tragedy over night.

This. The city will probably still get sued for the 3-4
month delay to Rouzan is my guess.

The waterproofing, pool contractors, and a few others deserved nothing for the shitty work they did.

The pool issue was 100% due to value engineering.
That is a fact. The pool was re-built TWICE -- and
leaked immediately. The project (PR) as a whole was mismanaged.

That is absolutely not true. His name is cancer in the BR commercial contracting realm. Nobody touches a Spinosa affiliated project in this town; especially nowadays. Most of the people I've worked with were skeptical of him before PR was even out the ground. Just Google that Business Report story on how many people he owed. Most of them are still SOL. The dude is a scam artist. Don't believe me? Go do some work for him. You'll see soon enough.
