Well, you sure couldn't drive that car around for too long like that so the damage must have been recent.

Yeah that windshield is about to fall in the drivers lap.

It's not a migratory animal and doesn't hibernate. So there might be more in the fall but doesn't make it a rare sight in the summer.

for some reason I don't think hitting deer is a problem during the middle of the summer, especially in the middle of baton rouge

Deer cross Airline all the time right where he took that picture.

I would hope I am. I've havent seen damage like that since I was new trying to cut one out. I haven't had one where a deer got hit or obviously a person. I mean the freaking wiper blade is pushed up in the glass. No way to tell if deer or person but if I recall he was on a scooter or bike? I would think scooter and body went up and on to the windshield. People underestimate how strong a ws is. Look at top and it's not even connected to pinchweld. That was some force

Eta: I'm saying assuming went up b/c it would take force of something hard like a scooter to do damage like that depending on how fast person was going. I've seen when younger friends who have had deer hit and roll on ws and it wasn't damage like that.

This thread has everything.. Someone that knew the poor guy, someone that may have caught the perp, and a windshield doctor to examine the damage.

Calling the glass shop like others said would be wise. Having police call them at least

I do not, I just knew original description of car and a Scion and Chrysler 300 look nothing alike..

So unless the eye witness acct was from some half wit retard... I tend to not jump the gun

Windshieldman, don't glass shops usually report suspicious windshield damage to the police on their own?

Eye witnesses get things wrong all the time. There was more than one witness, so it's very likely one saw scion and the other saw a 300.
