For all you guys talking about body changes at 31. The second wave of changes comes around 36-37. Mostly can't do the physical activities with the intensity like you did in your twenties. A late hangover takes a while to recover from these days. I enjoy the early evening drink these days. In my early 40's now. For me, not much different than late 30's

Can't speak to hangovers because I haven't gone overboard since I was 23.

But right around 40 I've been noticing physical differences (less stamina, harder to see small print).

Thirties were rough on me. At 34 I had to start wearing reading glasses. Was diagnosed with Lupus at 37.

No complaints, but at 58 I'm thinking about moving to a state where I can try medical marijuana.

36 here, turn 37 in December.

- hangovers last an entire day now, sometimes two days
- have "tweaked" areas doing everyday life things, like getting in/out of bed, getting in/out of the shower, getting in/out of the car, etc.
- hairline started receding in my mid 20s, so that was awesome

I have been umpiring USSSA since my early 20s to try to stay in shape and just started back in the gym a few months ago. I'm not looking forward to the 40s and 50s after reading some of these posts

Crazy, I was just talking to someone earlier, how I'll be 35 this year and I haven't ever in my life had such a great metabolism and actually look decent without a shite with eating super shitty and working out ZERO

It's like a guy starts to hit his body's physical perfection as it's ever going to get in the 30s

I'm 35 and consider myself in very good shape...however, in the last few months I've noticed soreness in my entire body a day after working out...considering I never had to take time off ever in the past , it's been every day body aches even a day where I don't do nothing....it's depressing to think about that it will never get better

My metabolism hasn't slowed so I'm grateful for that and I still look like I'm in my mid 20s...but my body feels like it's in the 40s

For me, 35-45 was when I finally knew what I enjoyed and had the money to do it. 30-35 I wasn't quite there yet but wasn't doing stupid stuff any more.

Mine slowed. I have to try to stay at a healthy weight. Used to eat whatever I wanted.

I am stronger now than I was. I drink about the same ( didn't drink often before). I get ear hair now. I'm more concerned about saving and retirement now. I buy more quality stuff now.

I went in reverse I guess. I was married shortly after I graduated college (22). Made a lot more money in my mid 20s than now, and had my first kid in my mid 20s. I didn't party in my 20s. I was happy to come home to my family and do adult things.

Pretty much the same here.

Turner 34 last month.

Over the past 2 years i have started aching more after workouts. I am in great shape, but the workouts now start to wear on me by thursday every week. I also play some tournament softball on saturdays and tennis a night a week. I have noticed i cant go as hard as i used to. I dont have that quick first step like i had.

As far as everyday life goes. I used to go to school or work then soon as i got off be playing some ball somewhere and partying at night. Every friday and saturday consisted of drinking until i passed out, and i would do the same one night a week and never bothered me the next day. Now i drink maybe 2-3 times a year, and when i do the hangovers hurt. Basically the punishment of the hangover isnt worth the good time of drinking for me now.

I am married with a kid on the way. My days now consist of me getting off work, going home to feed the dogs, sit on the porch with my wife, and watch the chickens peck around. I mess around in the garden, i have an antique truck we cruise around in, and i hunt and fish. Mosy weekends consist of fishing/hunting in early part of the day while drinking a cherry coke. And laying on the couch watching netflix with the wife. I just dont enjoy "partying" anymore. I do enjoy a fire, or river camping trip a couple times a year and drinking beers with the boys.
