I turn 31 in 11 days and I actually sat down for a bit and thought about the shite I don't do anymore now that I am in my 30's opposed to 20's.

First thing that opened my eyes is that I don't drink no where near as often.

Second one is that I can literally fall asleep before 10:30 every night if im not out.

Third thing is workouts tend to take a little more out of me than usual. Sore longer than normal..

What say you OT?

Just turned 30 a few months back, and I swear to God a switch flipped overnight and now when I get hung over, it lasts the entire next day.

I used to bounce back a lot quicker from a night of drinking.

I was at a party at a shitty apartment with shitty people doing shitty substances. I decided that I at 30 I can't be associating with these people anymore.

ETA: We're talking people all around 30 who can't afford to go out to drink at the bar or eat out and can barely make rent (with roommates) but can afford to be flush with weed and acid.

I'm 31 and lemme tell you my pants that I've owned for years don't fit quite the same as they used to.

Day drinking became much more fun than the midnight to 4 am crap of HS and college.

Instead of partying with broke 20yo's, I party with affluent 30yo's...much classier

My 30's have been great. It's a shame I have to kiss them goodbye in a couple months

Most see the biggest jump in income they'll have between early and late 30s

I've had to redo my inncer circle quite a bit. i have a career and well some of them knew I get paid well and were trying to become professional leeches.

Honestly even with dating it's true. You have to associate yourself with your same social-economic status because drama happens otherwise.

For all you guys talking about body changes at 31. The second wave of changes comes around 36-37. Mostly can't do the physical activities with the intensity like you did in your twenties. A late hangover takes a while to recover from these days. I enjoy the early evening drink these days. In my early 40's now. For me, not much different than late 30's

when I was 34, I tore my achilles tendon.

I was playing basketball against two guys and beating them handily.
I was at the top of my game. I had touch, total body control, and could score at will. if they put the ball on the floor I took it.

one of the losers misplayed a ball and I started to go after it for him and he said he would run and get it and I stopped. My tendon popped.
