It's not quite as bad as it's made out to be around here.

I'm not saying it's a great place or anything, but I bet y'all end up having nice time.

Good lord man. Take her to Uncle Bucks at the bass pro, its the best thing you'll find in PEARL. All of the good places are downtown/north jackson

There's just not a lot to do. Bars close early. The people are real clique-ish.

We will hit Jackson for the entertainment for sure. Wasn't expecting much beyond a hotel stay at Pearl

Any good hiking/walking trails along the reservoir? It's supposed to be a beautiful day and we like to hike

People walk on the Natchez Trace and that is pretty pleasant.

Went to Jackson last year for a wedding, stayed at some hotel downtown. Literally like a ghost town, didn't see and resturants, bars, or even people walking around. It was scary, like a zombie movie.
