re: Have your parents ever owned a school official?

One morning, my dad had a meeting with a couple of my teachers and the principal of the school. He got there at like 6:30 for the meeting, only like one or two of the five teachers showed up. So finally, my dad being a punctual man told the principal he would like to get this over with. So the principal asked the teachers, "Does TigerFanInSouthland misbehave in class?" They responded that I sometimes talked too much, I had a lot of friends and that I sometimes chewed gum which wasn't allowed.
My dad said, "That's it?"
The teachers said yes sir.
I can just remember seeing his jaw clench and he went "you mean to tell me I got my arse up here this early this morning and cancelled a job I had to get to today for y'all to tell me all he does is talk a little too much and chews gum?"
"Yes sir"
"Does he ever not do what y'all tell him to do?"
"No sir"
That's when he got real pissed at them. He said, "Ok, well don't ever call me on my goddamn phone again. I don't give a damn if you have to beat him, don't ever call me on my phone to waste my damn time over him talking."
He then grabbed me by my collar and brought me out in the hall and the bell had rung for the school to open. He pinned me up against the locker, clearly not pissed at me, but more at the teachers/principal. Said "I better not get one more fricking call from these people ever again, you understand me?"
Principal kinda freaked out at that haha.

Couple of things...
In 2nd grade some of us had a crush on the hot young teacher and decided that being horrible brats would get her attention. She kept some of us after school which put me in danger of missing my bus. She wouldn't let me go in time so I climbed out of the window and ran to my bus while she screamed for me to stop. Next day, she made me sit in my desk the entire day, and after school, made me miss my bus, and wouldn't let me call my mother to tell her I wasn't coming home. When I didn't get off of that bus in front of my house, my mother sped to school, slammed our classroom door open, and tore that poor teacher another a-hole. If that teacher had let me call home she'd have been safe as kittens, but that one misstep on her part shifted the blame from me to her.
Another...
When our daughter was little, she brought home an assignment where they had to designate if certain occupations were "male" or "female" occupations. Doctors were supposed to be men, nurses were supposed to be women, etc. I thought my wife was going to burn that school down. They pulled that assignment from the future syllabus and wrote us an apology.

That stupid bitch called your dad out for being a bad parent because you were taking too many shits at school? I'm guessing she has worked her way up to a high level position with the secretary of education's office in Louisiana by now.

Man y'all got this schooling shite figured out, huh?
I fricking hate people like you (your parents)
God bless your brother though

In my day Parents didn't act like all entitled shitheads with the school. They made damn sure we respected the teachers. If you're getting called in you've probably been major disruptive for it to get to that point and deserved an arse whippin instead of a coddling.

When we moved to our house with a larger lawn, dad tried owning a school official. It didn't work out very well. They always shirked off around 3:30 and did squat all summer. We sold him a few years later.

Oh really?
Hmm. Because my parents sued the school board, not for money, but to ensure they followed federal guidelines and had all the resources in place for kids like my brother?
frick you dude. My brother was slammed out of his desk by the vice principal and forcibly removed from class in handcuffs and locked in "in school detention" for days at a time because the school didn't have the proper personel or plans/resources to deal with severely autistic children.
The Livingston Parish school system now has these personel and plans and resources, BECAUSE of my family and the lawsuits.
So go eat a bag of dicks you fricking pile of shite

How old was your bro? I would have gone scorched earth on any admin that put hands on a family member.

My dad said the same thing.
Except that we never had any arguments. I usually just did what he told me to do.

Oh this is all in ELEMENTARY.
By the time he got in Jr high he had a designated special ed assistant and other stuff.
But elementary was a nightmare. Several times he was forcibly removed by male staff members, restrained, put in handcuffs etc. It was bad. But we kept it out of the limelight. All we wanted was the resources to help my brother. We didn't want attention. Didn't want money. Just wanted my brother treated right.

Clendon was a beast. Brian was a lunatic.
I wasn't scared of Barry. Dude was chewing me a new one one day and he started poking my chest really hard. While yelling, his spit was flying all over my face. I laughed and that pissed him off. That earned me a few ours of the chair and writing several pages of the yellow pages.
That LC discipline and education made me the man I am today. My bro and I always joke about wanting to open a "franchise" uptown.
