Older sister's a lesbian. Only people in our family she has told though are our parents and me and we are letting her tell the rest in her own time. This past Christmas our grandma got her a duck commander devotional book, I about cried laughing when she opened it because it was right after all the Phil gay comment stuff.

Sounds like Grandma has her suspicions.

Of the 316,148,990 esimated US current population, 12,013,661 are gay (or 3.8%). Out of every 100 people you know, approx 4 should be gay, yet every member of the OT knows 20 gay people

People on here are so proud to have gay friends. It must be a Southern thing because it sure isn't that way in Arizona!

He didn't say that exactly. If there were another man and woman in the room, he might just pass on two tits, the snatch, and put the d in his mouth. Make sense? Me either.

I have two gay friends. I find that to be the ideal number. More than one, but not so many that your schedule gets cluttered up with parades.

Actually...

Lets say 30 people in this thread know a gay person. There are 6970 Users online at this current moment. That would mean only 0.4% of the people on this website at this moment spoke up and said they know a gay person. I'm pretty positive there are around 3.6% more of them out there.

Or we could help your cause and throw out 5,970 of those users.

30/1000 is 3% which is STILL below the population average.

Sorry, I just hate this statement sometimes. People underestimate how many active Users there are at any given time.

I went in several dates with a very attractive, ambitious guy in college. My dad even approved, which was a huge deal. After a while we just kinda stopped talking and mutually agreed that there wasn't any huge attraction.

He's married to a man now.... Which definitely explains why there wasn't an attraction.

So all you're really saying is that all OTers have 500+ Facebook friends.

One of my best friends at LSU now bats for the other team in LA as a make up artist and designer for Hollywood. He won an emmy a few years back.

He was a groomsman in my weddding and a great guy. He still is.

I personally don't give a crap. I am glad he is doing well and is happy. (I guess the signs were there when he proclaimed Tina Turner as his favorite artist).

It is all good. He and I remain friends on FB. Class dude.

I knew a guy in HS who was out as you can be without actually making it official, which was pretty ballsy of him at the time. Fast forward many years, and he's now a Baptist music minister, still not married, although he has a semi-regular female companion, and he's toned down his flamboyant mannerisms quite a bit. It's his business, but a curioius choice of careers considering the Baptist anti-gay stance.
