It violates many state and local statutes, executive orders, and municipal ordinances banning discrimination based on gender, but it does not run afoul of federal law regarding public accommodations.
How about the Civil Rights Act of 1964?

Seriously doubt what happens? I haven't looked into the company at all, but if they are only going to pick up women, then it should be safe to suggest that they will be cutting off revenues from men and women who are with boyfriend/husband/guyfriend/whatever -- so i'd say give or take ~50% potential revenue off the bat this company is losing.
Plus, this company in existence still has no effect on me hailing a cab, uber, lyft, or whatever ride-sharing/taxi company is in my area.

You have to be a historically discriminated against groups.
Women
Black
Bastard children
Etc....
Men will never fit the current framework

Why would a woman need an Uber to get from the kitchen to the bedroom anyway?

It's a great idea and should be expanded for all races and genders.

That ban on gender discrimination applies to many things: hiring/firing, lending, housing, theatres, hotels, ect but it actually doesn't apply to "public accomidations", aka the vast majority of businesses open to the public. There have been several attempts to amend it to do so, but none have successfully passed the Senate.
Massachusetts, however, does have an executive order in place to prevent such discrimination.

How long until transgenders want to use the girl cabs?

I really dont think itll be that hard for uber to launch a feature for women where they would only get female drivers rendering this startup obsolete with quickness

Women want to be tankers and grunts on the one hand but yet still need their own taxi service to feel safe? That's liberal logic in a nutshell for ya.

What if a man was driving, picks up smoking hot women, and offers them the ability to pay for the ride in sex instead of cash?

Women are just MORE equal.

I disagree with this. As a woman, I do not want to entrust my life to woman driver. We suck at driving.
See, people always say this, but there's a reason men have higher auto insurance rates.

Easier tweak: let the users choose their driver. Then women who want a female driver choose one and the company isn't discriminating. It's just a matchmaking platform like eBay for tangible goods.

So all the whining about discrimination is a farce becausewhen lib's say it is okay then it is okay. I always thought that is the case.
