You keep jumping back to this whole "outing" a rape victim bit. I truly would like to know what the harm, or vindictiveness, you think some posters on here would have to "out" a rape victim? It's not like she, her family, her close friends...or even a very, very, very distant cousin doesn't already know the sordid details about. It seems you equate "outing" a rape victim to outing a gay person, in some way, and I don't see the resemblance.
There's nothing anyone on here can say or do to make her life any more miserable and, for the most part, I have never seen a poster on here go after a victim...on the contrary, they go after the OP. So, please don't sit there and say you're protecting her well-being because we all know you're protecting yourself from someone on here white-knighting and ruining your future with the rich, distant aunt-uncle in-laws.
But, for the record, if the story is as crazy as you say it is then I am genuinely interested in hearing what happened.
Also, if these scumbag really got away with it, why would you protect his identity...y'know, being a distant cousin and not having an legal obligation to keep your mouth shut?

Not to mention, if the internet detectives can actually find the story WITH her identity in it, she is already "outed." But they don't generally list rape victims in the news stories very often. Dude just makes "interesting and entertaining" stuff up for attention and conversation. Basically admitted to it earlier in this thread.
