I quit using FB in 2016 and haven't missed it once.

I love it. Keep up with family around the country and a couple of photo groups. I purged anyone who posted crap.

I long for the days of gender reveal photos and food pictures.

Pretty sure i prefer the selling and articles over the gender reveal and food pics.

I still use messenger app to keep in contact with some people but I have no use for the newsfeed. If I want news I watch the news. If something important is happening with friends they can tell me directly.

I have no idea how Facebook is supposedly the biggest purveyor of info in the world

It's of good use to me. A typical week for me is, the country club post info about club happenings and food specials, etc, my tennis group post dates and times, etc of matches, my favorite restaurants and bars let me know what is happening and what the good happy hour specials are. The kids different sport teams and clubs post updates
I keep up with my friends businesses and how they are doing.
I love seeing pics of family and friends from around the world and what is happening in their lives.

It sure beats trying to keep up with hundreds of emails and text.

facebook is awful but it is quite useful when registering for new sites etc

the "login with Facebook" feature is too convenient to give up so i keep

its also nice to see local events in your area

(if you live in a desolate place this obviously would not be useful)

My feed is 90% obnoxious virtue signaling atm. Oh you don't like nazis and klansmen? So bold!

Mine also has more than its share of people bitching about Trump. I'm going to have to start blocking people from my news feed because I can't stop myself from fighting with them.

Yep, community events are easy to keep up with on facebook. It's also easy to get in touch with some of the people involved. People who hate facebook are most likely using it incorrectly.

I find it odd people are so infatuated with Facebook.

I feel like FB has it to where I only follow a select number of people on my friend's list. At least half of those are people that I don't really care to keep up with.

I miss the days when you needed a college login, and you could creep on people from other schools.

Don't forget the race baiting and liberals blaming white privilege for everything.

I need to get back to just posting Jesuit jokes.

Anyone got any good ones?
