I've had a business FB page for over 10 years. Ive never had a personal FB page.

We use the business FB page tied into Twitter, Instagram, LinkdIn where we post info on our website and it automatically updates our social network pages. So any healthcare promotions or office hour changes can be found by the patient's site of choice.

I refuse to get a personal FB page.

Worst part is that 75% of the shite in my feed is posts from pages/people I dont know or follow, but it shows up in my feed because one of my friends liked or commented on it.

FB would be a lot better if they had an option to turn off seeing those posts simply because a friend commented or liked it.

For Facebook to devolve it would have had to have some real value at some point.

The quality of facebook is directly related to the quality of your friends.

I wouldn't know. I'm not on Facebook.

I always find it odd/funny that people not on Facebook love to tell everyone they're not on Facebook.

I delete anyone that shares or tries to use that as a market place to shame me into buying from a friend. My goal is to have no reason for an account by 2018

I joined FB to keep up with HS classmates. I've since gotten bored with FB and I think my classmates have too.

ETA: Every time I see someone with > 1,000 friends, I want to ask "Do you really know all these people?"

I quit using FB in 2016 and haven't missed it once.

My news feed turned into nothing my friends sharing content of people I didn't even know. Scrolling through it was like watching a tv channel consisting entirely of commercials.

Good riddance.

I am getting tired of the suggested posts from facebook. I get more bullshite click bait suggestions, or fricking ads. It's god damn unreal.

Just watch what you "like" or else your feed will get all jacked up with garbage.

It's easy to accidentally "like" something when scrolling on the mobile app.

I started blocking all sites that weren't my friends. So if a friend shared a post from Target, for instance, I right clicked and block all from Target.

I wanted to only see content from my friends so I did this all the time and my feed got smaller and smaller because there was no original content, only shared shite.

In the end FB was actually showing me posts from weeks before just so it would have something to put in my feed

I have no idea how Facebook is supposedly the biggest purveyor of info in the world and a huge opinion influencer.

I know it has a lot of members, but the younger kids don't use it, and they older people just share stupid videos or try to sell stuff.

Does anyone turn to Facebook for news? No one I know.
