Any particular reason that it has to be ordered online?

It seems like there is a bigger risk of it not fitting properly

It's foolproof. You just hover the cursor over the tux that looks like it fits.

Doing it for the groomsmen in my wedding in two months, and did it as a groomsman in another wedding.

The Black Tux is a good site.

You give your measurements and some other fairly basic information, they ship everything to you about two weeks in advance, and if something doesn't fit you ship it back (for free) and they will resend the proper sizes.

Pretty smart, actually. And it sure as hell fits better than the crap people normally order from places like Men's Warehouse or Squires. I'm not saying it fits as well as a tailor made tux would, it is a rental after all, but it's definitely a step up from those kind of rental stores.

I mean, you're renting a tux, so it's probably going to be poorly fitting and absolute garbage to begin with.

Not slighting you, I've had to rent plenty too, but it's not like the folks doing fittings or shipping out the tuxes do a great job in the first place.

Call Mr. Mel with Tuxedos to Geaux in Metairie. Full tux (jacket, pants, shirt) with a full vest, tie, kerchief, etc., along with free alterations for life + 25% other vests and accessories for life.

$169+tax.

You're stupid if you do anything else.

I've done it before for an out of town wedding. Got fitted by a tailor near my house and sent the measurements to the place I got the tux from. Didn't have any problems with the fit.

Yes, the tux was completely made around my measurements

They also gave a guarantee that if it did not fit perfectly that they would make anothe one for you free of charge

Also monogrammed the inside for free

Great tux

Edited to specify that this was a purchase not a rental.

Used TBT for my groomsmen a' suits and highly recommend. One of my groomsmen had to send his jacket back after trying it on and there were no problems. They'll receive their tuxes early enough to ensure fit and the exchange is super quick. Fantastic customer service and suit quality was excellent.

I did it through The Black Tux for a wedding and it was the best tux I've ever rented. They send it to you several days in advance in case you need to change sizes.

Clearly you didn't read the thread. The guy is a groomsman and the bride wants a specific type of tux. I own three tuxedos (black jacket, white jacket, and tails) and I still always end up renting a tux when I'm in a wedding for that exact reason.

But I'm sure you're one of those OT ballers I've heard so much about that just buys a different tux every time and then throws it away because wearing the same tux twice is trashy.
