You could read the OP and find out for yourself. Don't worry, we've waived the time limits to accommodate you.

My test taking problems are situational. They rarely (like once a year) happen when I'm dealing with stuff IRL.

I saw it in med school.

Then the application for my written board exam had a section detailing the process of requesting special accommodations. I'm sure the Tamaras of medicine are taking full advantage of it.

She's obviously am affirmative action case at Harvard. Unfortunately for her the bar doesn't lower standards based on race.

So Harvard basically enabled this snowflake. As suspected, Harvard created an academic experience for her that simply doesn't translate in the real world. Now that the real world doesn't bend over backwards for her like Harvard did, she wants to sue. Harvard really did her a disservice and she is clearly in the wrong profession.

quote:

Among other things, Ms. Wyche received on her examinations 50 percent extra time; stop - clock breaks during which time would not run; and a separate testing room.

She also sought and obtained from Harvard targeted accommodations such as not being “cold-called” by professors.

So how would she do in a stressful work environment at a distinguished law firm? Would she sue them for not giving her accommodations. Point is if you have social disorders severe anxiety and depression there's some jobs you just might not be able to do if you can't cope with them.

Through high school, college, and grad school, I never saw or knew of a guy pulling this BS.

It was always girls-bitchy, black, or both-who couldn't compete with the top quartile or top 10% on a level playing field.

They'd cook up some 10% BS special accommodations crap for tests or slut their ways through clinical rotations.

Very very little of what your experience in law school is like the real world. Nothing on the bar exam is like the real world.

This is pretty stupid though. This is a tried and true method of learning the material. And if you are in a litigation practice, being able to think on your feet is a minimum requirement.

The board initially denied all her requests but upon appeal allowed her extra break time and a smaller testing room, her suit claims. She failed after having panic attacks during the exam, she alleges, and her standing as a “star” associate at Ropes & Gray took a hit, she alleges. (The firm did not respond to a request to confirm Wyche’s employment.) She also failed the July 2014 bar exam after the board granted her 50 percent extra time and a smaller testing room, but denied any extra break time. Ropes & Gray terminated her employment after her second failure, Wyche claims.

The board granted her request for double time on the February 2015 bar exam, and Wyche passed, according to her suit.

Took her 3 attempts and twice the amount of time.

She should really count her blessings, stop broadcasting her incompetence, and kindly STFU.

She'd make a great attorney for some big law firm that bills by the hour.

It means being asked a question in class by a professor without any prior notice.

I failed the Bar because I lived in New Orleans "to study" and partied my titties off instead. Did I sue every coke dealer and bar in the city? No, I took my medicine like a man.

Dumb bitch.
