On Beyond pod app, the show goes back to Oct 2013. Not sure if you want earlier?

So I'm nearing the end of the Celtic Holocaust episode. It's the first one I've listened to, and it's just ok to me. How does it compare to others? Name me a couple I should try out.

It's an average to below average episode in my opinion.

Listen to the series on the Mongols or episode about the Anabaptist rebellion in Germany.

The entire series about WWI is outstanding. Blueprint for Armageddon.

The Celtic Holocaust was my least favorite. I enjoyed the descriptions of the Celts, and of Caeser's use of manipulation, and war strategies. But it plodded towards the middle and end like many podcasts in general tend to do.

I look forward to long roadtrips by myself for no other reason than being able to listen to Hardcore History uninterrupted. For someone who claims to 'not be a historian', he does a phenomenal job.

That one bored me, but in fairness I had just finished the Death Throes of the Republic, so the topic itself was kind of worn out.

My favorites have been Blueprint for Armageddon, The Wrath of the Khans, and The Destroyer of Worlds

I tried listening to Wrath of the Khans on my last roadtrip but could not find it on my podcast app. I don't know why it would be taken down, couldn't it at least be available to purchase? I follow other podcasts and they have up TONS of old podcasts and they post more often so they have way more content available. Not sure why this one isn't so available for older episodes.

If I've never before listened to a pod cast, but am a history buff, what episode should I start with.

if you drive a lot or have a bunch of time to listen and pay attention, i very highly recommend blueprint for Armageddon. i had little prior knowledge of WW1 and found it fascinating.

He has all of the episodes up and available for purchase. They are inexpensive and given the care with which they are made and the high quality of the product, I would urge you to actually purchase them rather than pirate them. But that's just me. I think getting 50 episodes for something like $70 is insanely fair.

My favorite was actually the first episode I listened to, Prophets of Doom. It's the story of the German city Munster during the Protestant Reformation.

Like others said, have to buy them. Worth it, IMO.
