I'm all for the destruction of these six century animals, but history tells me they will regroup. Looking at this recent video of the Ruskies low and slow movers

What a shite hole. I still can't for the life of me figure why those places over there are worth fighting and dying for.

The advantage that the Russians have is that they can shoot any Hadji that points a weapon at them and not go to prison when they get home..

The Russian HIND helicopter is a potent machine and will be put to brutally efficient use in close combat attack against ISIS.

Ruskies don't play and they don't care about Geneva.

When they launch their ground offensive, they're going to break out the thermobaric munitions and every structure they suspect ISIS to be in, they'll target, and likely won't bother to ask questions about who else is in there.

I hope the Russians still fight as predictably as they have in the past, but I suspect they've learned a few things. They shouldn't be underestimated.

Yep. US troops have to sit there, watch the enemy set up shop, lock and load AND start shooting at them before they can fire back. It's fricking sickening.

Let's say your poll numbers are down, and you want to pretend to be tough on terrorism...

I know it happens to all armed forces, including our own, but I think Russia has had like 8-9 aircraft crashes through various exercises this year alone.

The Russians are as dumb as we are. Afghanistan worked for them about as well as it has for us. The middle east is a quagmire. Military intervention in these countries and then leaving voids only makes these countries extremely unstable. There is no winning there.
