I have a procedure coming up. In your experience, what should I be expecting in terms of sensation or emotions? Is there anything I can do to make it more pleasurable for me or for Dr. Shaundry?

Better to be safe than sorry.

I am a little older than you and had an upper and lower done at the same time. I requested that the doctor do the upper first, in case he got the scopes confused.

You will the sensation of taking giant liquidy shits followed by emotions of fear that you may crap your pants before you can walk just a few feet to the bathroom before the next round.

The procedure is super easy tho. They drug you up, you take a awesome nap, then you wake up and go get something to eat because you will be starving

Sharp pains in stomach. Urge to take a shite when I get nervous

Waking up in middle of night with sharp pains. Turns out I have a nervous stomach and IBS and need to change my foods on when I eat them. I'm use to eating a huge dinner and all that acid hitting my weak stomach wasn't good. Also cutting back on coffee

I had both done recently too. However, they wouldn't do them both the same day. I had to come back 2 days later. He told me that they don't like to do them at the same time for some reason

I'm 22 and had my first a few months ago. Grandpa and dad had to have them early also, My phone died about an hour into my adventure, I attempted to go plug it in but immediately regretted this decision and had to abandon the mission. Sat on the toilet for a few hours reading better homes and southern living.

I had this as a kid before tests. Doc basically told me it was all in my head and to be a big boy and get over it lmao (military doctor, we lived on base).

Like someone said, that was the best nap ever. They told me it would take 5 seconds to kick in, bam. Wake up 40 minutes later and 20 minutes after that felt great. I told the nurse I need some of that for personal use. Lol

I had my first when I was 45 due to a little blood in my poop . I thought it was the roids . Glad I did because 2 pre cancerous polyps were found . If I had waited till I was 50 it would have been really mess up .Just had my 4th last Friday . Waiting for the results of a biopsy on another polyp .

Congratulations on your good results. I'll be having my 10th annual colonoscopy the first week in December.

Same boat as you. My "IBS" turned out to be my thyroid. Went through all the GI test. Waiting on that thing to crap out so I can have it removed.
