Just rented a house on River Rd. on the Guadalupe next weekend. Guys trip. 10 people aged 22-24.
Looking for advice or recommendations of things "to do" or "not" while out that way. River runs through the backyard so of course tubing. TIA.
San Antonio?
College Bars?
6th street worth the commute?

You will most likely be too drunk and/or too tired to make it to 6th street

If you can make it to one of those places after being on the river you are doing it wrong.
Pay for the shuttle at Rockin R. They will take you up multiple times.
Hit the horseshoe bend.
Also if you want more people in an area where there is more of a party atmosphere you need to hit up the Comal river. Use Texas tubes.

Shoot me an email with more questions. I lived there many years. Family has home in Gruene so we are there a lot.

River Road Icehouse.
If it's a good river weekend there should be enough poon running around for all of you to find trouble.
Austin is a long, and let's be honest after a day on the river, DRUNK drive.
Even when I was 22 I was exhausted.
If a good act is in Gruene hall it's worth a look. If it is an older act the crowd in there may be ancient to early 20's aged dudes.

El napolito is badarse
If you go down the Comal there is a place right next to the park called pat's place. Great burger and enchiladas. Weirdo combo
See if there is a concert at white rock ampetheatre. Usually a good time and much closer than the others you listed.
6th street is fun if you have never been and love crowds and freak shows. I think 4th is a little more laid back.
San Marcos is closer than austin. There is a cool square around the courthouse that has some good spots full of loose women. The tap room in San Marcos is another great burger with 100s of beers to choose from.
New Braunfels closes at 12 midnight except Saturday you get to stay out until 1.

I lived in Texas for several years, and the Gristmill restaurant in Gruene was the best BBQ I ever had. I highly recommend having a meal there.

Invest in some good speakers for the river. Play good music and the poon will float right to you. Also, Jell-O shots.

Be ready for the waterfall 2/3 of the way through.

Go to the comel river, bring lots of alcohol and some music. The ladies will come to you...also there's a good chance you will see drunk bitches showing their titties too. Great times!
